So Emeril Tweeted Me Plus a #SeriousSandwich

I had the most ridiculous conversation on Twitter yesterday. Twitter sent me an email that Emeril was following me. It was pretty exciting since I don't follow a lot of celebrities. Ok, maybe I follow a few celebrity chefs on Twitter. I was so excited that I tweeted about Emeril following me. Of course I followed him back, only to discover that he was no longer following me. Of course I tweeted that too.

After my friend Neena of Hooeycritic teased me about my (pretend) emotional roller coaster, Emeril actually tweeted me in return.

So he followed me again. For good, I hope.

Hopefully, Emeril won't think I'm a rabble rouser. I'm going to blame Neena for it. Totally. Sidenote: do you think Emeril actually writes his own tweets?

A couple of hours after this exchange, I learned that I've been chosen as a #SeriousSandwich blogger, a cookalong sponsored by Morrow Cookbooks.! Together with the other (really amazing) food bloggers, we're going to eat our way through Emeril's newest cookbook, Emeril's Kicked-Up Sandwiches: Stacked with Flavor.  The cookalong begins Oct 1st, so I hope you won't mind photos of tasty sandwiches.

I wonder if Emeril has a banh mi recipe?
