On My Wish List: Starbucks' Verismo Single Cup Brewer

During BlogHer, I had a chance to check out Starbucks' new single cup brewer, the Verismo. It's pretty darn nice. I've resisted buying a Keurig machine because I like my coffee strong. Like Vietnamese coffee strong.

You know how much of a Starbucks fan I am. And a coffee addict to boot. Even Klout says I'm influential about coffee (for what that's worth). I was the obnoxious blogger asking about brew temperatures, steaming milk, refillable cups and if the packaging was recyclable. (Yes, yes, not yet, and no.)

After the presentation, they let us make our own cup of coffee on the Verismo. It comes in lots of pretty colors. I want a red one. Actually I want the one where I can adjust the brew temperature so I can make hot chocolate for the kids. Like the kid ones I order from Starbucks cafe. They're not as hot.

The release date for the Verismo is "holiday" now. Very vague. Those Starbucks PR reps were very mysterious.

While I'm pretty happy with my French press, if Santa brought me a Verismo, I would not complain one bit.

I also requested that Starbucks bring back the salted caramel squares. Man, I miss those.

I was not compensated to write about this machine. But if the PR peeps at Starbucks want to send me one to review, I'll happily test it out! This post contains affiliate links.
