I almost didn't stop by the Love With Food booth at BlogHer because the entire area was mobbed. There were several small booths in a tight space and it was hard to walk by, much less find a spot to stop and talk to someone. I'm glad I did stop on the last day of the conference. Aihui Ong, CEO and Ffunder of Love With Food, handed me a postcard about her company and promised to send me a sample box to review.
Love With Food is a monthly subscription service that sends you "a curated box of unique, hard-to-find tasty bites which varies based on seasonal themes." Sounds fun, right? I love trying out new to me foods and I don't even have to go out and find them? Plus for every box sold, Love With Food donates a meal to one of several food banks.
I received the August box to review. The little box was crammed full of goodies. All but one item in it was new to me.. The theme for August was Travelin' Treats, which includes snacks and candy perfect for a summer trip. Included in my box were:

So far hubby and I have tried the Montgomery Dried Cherries and the Coconut Toffee Peanuts. The dried cherries were just how I like my dried cherries: sweet and tart. I only wished the bag was bigger. Neither hubby or I are big fans of coconut flavored foods, but we were pleasantly surprised by the Coconut Toffee Peanuts. They were more toffee flavored with just a hint of coconut.
I haven't tried the other items yet. Sophia has already claimed the Glee Gum for herself. She's also learning what vegan means, thanks to the vegan cookies. Once you've tried out the goodies in your box, you can purchase more directly from Love With Food.
