Crafty Tutorials to Inspire You This Weekend

I have been itching to craft. I let the kids paint the other day but I was too busy making sure Jaxson didn't paint the carpet black that I didn't really have a chance to paint myself. So, instead of writing blog posts for my other blogs, I caught up on some craft blogs.

I pinned a bunch of tutorials to my Pinterest boards for when I have time to actually make something more involved. I hope you find these as inspiring as I do.

A very colorful and adult Shrinky Dinks project. Kelli Nina Perkins' tutorial for these doodle charms make it look super easy. I've never played with Shrinky Dinks ever. This tutorial makes me want to change that.

I'm not sure if this crayon wreath would survive a toddler, but it's super easy to make. The tutorial on Tiny Prints is very doable. It's also very budget friendly. If you're a fan of Tiny Prints, head over to my other blog for a chance to win a $50 Tiny Prints code.

There's a pile of rocks on my patio right now, waiting to be painted. While there's no specific tutorial, I love the bright colors of these rocks painted by In His Grace.

Ok, so this isn't a tutorial either but seeing this dress made me want to sew. Dresses specifically. This is designed by Natalie Chanin, whom I admire for her creativity and vision of slow crafting. I also love the neckline of that dress.

This dress makes me want to cut up some old t-shirts and pull out my copy of Improv Sewing.

Do you have any crafty plans this weekend?
