This week's CSA was much more exciting than last week. The kids shucked the corn then each ate one fresh. They also ate the container of blackberries before I could photograph it. We were also supposed to get peaches or nectarines but received more squash instead. Oy.
I shredded the squash and made a slaw that was pretty good. I think I just need to slice, blanch and freeze them
The tomatoes were perfect. I sliced some for a ham sandwich and added some lettuce to it. I think I enoyed the greens more than the ham. I think today's lunch calls for a salad!
I'm headed to BlogHer later this week so I don't know if hubby will photograph our haul from Week 9. I'll keep you updated.
