Can you believe it's week 3 of my CSA already? I confess that I barely put a dent in the previous week's CSA stash, mainly because we are kid free and have been indulging by eating out a lot. This week is back to regular life. I plan on cooking. I was going to say cook more, but I barely cooked last week.
I'm super excited about the squash. I still have my kohlrabi from last week so I plan on tossing the summer/yellow squash to roast with the kohlrabi and some potatoes I have. Hopefully it won't be too hot the day I roast them.
I'm getting tired of my kale salad recipe so I'm thinking of some sort of kale and bean soup. Or I could just cook them like southern style greens. I haven't decided yet. My little bunch of green lettuce looks sad because I ate half of it. That's all that's left.
