Eating My Way Through Vegas

Last week, I took a quick 2 1/2 day trip to Vegas for a conference. Of course I had to take photos of the food I ate. The good thing about Vegas is that there is no lack of good food. Those dan dan noodles above had a thick spicy peanut sauce. I've been craving some spicy noodles and that hit the spot!

I thought those were cakepops at first, but I'm not a huge fan of them. Turns out they're cheesecake balls. The ones with the nuts on them were the best, though I missed the crunchy graham cracker crust from a regular cheesecake.

Look at this gorgeous cake (click for a bigger photo) showcased at the Wynn Casino. There were a bunch of intricate cakes behind glass cases. I liked this one because it has an ocean theme. See those seahorses? The detail is amazing!
